Join us for a unique and exclusive experience in the Maipo Valley. Come with us to explore "Campo Petrichor," an organic orchard that's environmentally responsible. You'll also have the chance to harvest the products that will be used for a unique cooking session at Viña Los Tres, where you'll enjoy a delicious Carmenere in an intimate, pleasant, and completely private setting just for you.

Pucara Travel is proud to present a unique experience in the Maipo Valley, combining the best of our sustainability and community principles in a journey where you'll meet Mick and Carolina from "Campo Petrichor," a Chilean-American family dedicated to producing organic, pesticide-free vegetables and greens. Alongside our executive chef, Jorge Silva (with over 25 years of experience), you'll select various natural and flavorful products. These will then be prepared at the facilities of Viña Los Tres, a family-owned boutique vineyard renowned for its exquisite Carmenere crafted through organic agriculture and viticulture practices. All of this set in a captivating and surprising environment. Join us for an intimate and full-of-surprises journey.


1. Hotel Pickup:

Start your adventure day with comfort and convenience as our transportation service picks you up directly from your hotel in Santiago.

2. Organic Orchard Encounter:

Immerse yourself in the authenticity of Chilean agriculture with a unique encounter at the organic orchard in the Paine area. Here, you'll join the owner from Campo Petrichor, Mick Johnson, an US Expat in love with our country, for an experience of harvesting fresh seasonal vegetables which will be later used in our gastronomic experience.

3. Vineyard Tour and Tasting at Viña Los 3:

After the orchard experience, we'll head to Viña Los 3 for an exciting tour of its vineyards. Enjoy a tasting of award-winning wines, perfectly paired with an exquisite selection of cheeses while our chef prepares for our culinary experience.

4. Let's Get Cooking!

Put on your apron and delve into the culinary world with a masterclass cooking session alongside Chef Jorge Silva! Using the fresh vegetables you selected at the orchard, you'll learn to prepare a complete Chilean menu, from appetizers to dessert.

5. Lunch with Wine Pairing at Viña Los 3:

Indulge in organic flavors, with a gourmet lunch prepared by yourself, paired with Viña Los 3's Carmenere, in an idyllic setting among the vineyards.

6. Return to Santiago:

After a day full of discoveries and delights, our transportation service will take you back to your hotel in Santiago, where you can reminisce about the most memorable moments of your day.

ITINERARY

09:00 - Hotel Pickup

10:00 - Arrival at Organic Orchard in Paine and meeting with Mick Johnson from Campo Petrichor

10:15 - Selection of ingredients from the orchard and purchase of proteins (if necessary) in the town of Huelquén

11:30 - Arrival at Viña Los 3 and vineyard and cellar tour (includes a tasting of cheese and salami)

12:30 - Start of cooking class. An appetizer, main course, and dessert will be prepared (to be defined)

13:30 - Lunch paired with wine from Viña Los 3

14:30 - Departure from Viña Los 3 and Return to Santiago
